Year of Prayer

One of the most loving things you can do for your neighbor is pray over them.

Beginning Wednesday, October 1, and going through October 1, 2026, we will be participating in a focused initiative of 24/7 prayer. Join us in setting aside dedicated time in prayer asking God to save the lost in our families, neighborhoods, workplaces, and throughout the nations. Here are a few ways you can participate:

Sign up for an hour of prayer as we practice 24/7 prayer all year!
Use this Prayer Hour Wheel (available in English or Spanish) to guide your time in prayer.

Consecrate

In April, TVC will host Consecrate, a time that we might experience a fresh visitation of the Holy Spirit and be renewed, revived, and recommissioned for gospel mission in our day. To prepare for this event as you pray, use this Consecrate Prayer Wheel to guide your time.

The Village Church firmly believes that God has called us to fulfill the Great Commission: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." — Matthew 28:19

With this in mind, we’re asking: Who's your one? Who is the one person you can pray for, reach out to, and engage with in response to this calling? Join us in prayer—for our church, our community, and the nations—as we seek God’s direction. Below, you’ll find several ways to get involved. We’ve also partnered with our Global Missions team to offer on-demand Outreach Training, available below.

How to Get Involved

As part of our 2030 Vision, we are committed to sending wholehearted disciples and leaders into their homes, neighborhoods, city, and the nations. Our hope is that this would become part of the everyday rhythm of life at The Village Church.

Cothran Scholarship

The Cothran Local Missions Youth Leadership Scholarship awards $2,500 to one male and one female graduating senior at The Village Church who embody the heart of Christ through community service. Applications are due by April 1, 2026.
