Life Story
I grew up all over Southern California in a blended family. I was in and out of all kinds of churches and although I came to faith as a 9-year-old, I didn’t fully understand sin, salvation, or Christ until my mid-20s. From the encouragement of my pastor, I stumbled my way into leading Bible studies and discovered my real passion for teaching and helping people grow in their relationship with the Lord. When I realized this, I left all the ambitions I had for my career in the entertainment industry and pursued God with everything I had. This led me to Biola University and to many ministry opportunities I never could have dreamed of.
I married my husband in 2011, and during our years together we have served as youth small group leaders, finished school, found dream jobs, had two sweet and strong-willed girls, moved halfway across the country to Montana, let go of our dream jobs, did more youth ministry, then moved across the country again to Texas to step into the work God has for us here. Needless to say, our life feels wild sometimes, but I have seen God's steadfastness, provision, and unending grace through it all. I wouldn't have it any other way. God has been and will always be faithful to us.
Anyone who knows me knows that I love In-N-Out Burger, video games, good conversations, good books, and coffee.
Hope for The Village Church
My hope is that every member would be an authentic and passion-filled follower of Christ, seeking to come alongside the broken, and building each other up for the glory of God.
