TVC Responsibilities:
My primary responsibility as a deacon is to pray, pray, and pray continually on behalf of our church body, our staff, and our surrounding community.

When and how did the Lord save you?
The Lord took a traditional church kid who knew all the rules—following some to the point of pride and judgment, while breaking others to the point of deep shame—and brought me to a place of genuine grace and rescue.

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
My wife and I first came to TVC right after graduating from college in 2006. We had recently relocated back to the DFW area and were already very familiar with Matt Chandler’s preaching ministry.

If you had to give a TED Talk, what subject would you choose to speak on, and why?
I would speak on how managing people in the corporate workforce shares incredible overlap with parenting children. I have seen a massive amount of cross-functional principles between the two areas.

Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
Samwise Gamgee from The Lord of the Rings. He literally carried his best friend up the slopes of Mount Doom to help him fulfill the grueling task laid before him. Sam maintained unwavering hope in the most dark and hopeless places, loved fiercely, and remained loyal to the absolute end.
