Come and learn how the Gospel interacts with urban poverty and community development. You’ll get the chance to interact with issues that span public education, health issues, homelessness, nutrition, and much more. How might God use your life to impact your community in kingdom ways? This trip is open to students who have just finished any year of high school in the spring of 2023.

The Medici Project hopes to “help students clarify how they can leverage their passions and skill sets to serve others, predominantly through future vocations they are pursuing. Being exposed to and understanding how they can make a strategic impact in their communities is vital to influencing culture for the common good.” Student participants with have the opportunity to experience four essential dimensions surrounding the mission of the Medici Project:

  • To understand the gospel as the key to missions and its implications on how to serve.
  • To extend the grace we’ve experienced as believers to those in need.
  • To learn about who and where we are serving to gain cultural awareness.
  • To serve together as the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:12-27).
