Josh Yen serves as the Pastor of King’s Church in Lewisville, Texas. Please pray for Josh, his wife, Mallery, and their four kids: Caleb, Norah Mei, George, and Pete.

From early on in his walk with the Lord, Josh felt a particular burden for the local church. After many years at The Village, Josh and Mallery helped plant Redeemer Church of Denton, Texas, in 2013, where Josh served as Associate Pastor for eight years. 

In early 2021, the Yens felt the Lord calling them to plant a new church. As they sought the Lord’s direction for where this new church would be, He brought into their path people who needed to experience Jesus right where they lived. God showed them the harvest was there and stirred their hearts for Lewisville.

With a core team of people from Redeemer and The Village, they began gathering on Sunday afternoons in their home in January 2022. In September 2022, King’s Church launched Sunday morning services at Sparrow on Main in the heart of Old Town Lewisville.

The mission of King’s Church is to invite people to life together with Jesus in the now present, fully coming kingdom of God.
