Spencer Jacobson will serve as the lead pastor of Beacon Church in the Bedford/Hurst area. Please pray for Spencer, his wife, Jamie, and their two kids: Foster and Rose.

In the summer of 2020, Spencer began to feel called to plant a church in the Mid-Cities area. He and his Home Group had been meeting for several years in the area and had a desire to see a gospel-centered, Christ-exalting church established.

The Bedford/Hurst area is growing steadily, with young families moving in to take advantage of affordable housing and short commutes to Dallas and Fort Worth. Spencer hopes that Beacon Church will make disciples of Jesus through friendship with God and one another.

Beacon Church’s launch team will begin training in early 2022, and they plan to officially launch in the fall.
