The Growing Seed

The parable of the growing seed is a concise story of a profound truth. The farmer sows the seed yet knows not how it grows. He can only see the surface and is unaware of the energy happening underground. Jesus tells this story to remind the listener, that although the ground seems unchanged and the waiting feels futile, the harvest will come. The kingdom of God is mysterious and inevitable.
