Role
The Adult Discipleship Ministry Assistant & Executive Assistant is responsible for collaborative project assistance within the Adult Discipleship department, handling administrative requirements for Men’s Bible Study and formational classes, partnering with other ministry assistants where able. The Executive Assistant responsibilities include calendaring, internal/external communication, office and project coordination. This role reports to the Pastor/Executive Director, Discipleship, and is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute catalytic events (in collaboration with the events team), including Church wide Forum, Men’s Weekend, and various connect events, including Senior Adults and Single Adults.
- Assist ministry leaders in building project plans and administrative needs in co-ed adult formational spaces
- Collaborate with Sr. Director, Adult Ministries to create calendar and budget items for each ministry space.
- Coordinate the Pastor/Executive Director Discipleship’s calendar to accomplish timely communication and task completion
- Assist with important internal and external communication from the Pastor/Executive Director
- Coordinate logistics and hospitality for meetings/events.
- Assist Adult Ministries by coordinating and collaborating with Ministry Services to follow all procedures and policies for executing events at The Village Church.
