Role

The Communications Project Manager strengthens the stewardship of The Village Church’s Communications and Resources by overseeing key projects, managing vendor relationships, and continually refining related processes. Their role is to support ministries by removing structural and operational barriers, enabling greater clarity and efficiency. The Communications Project Manager reports to the Senior Director, Communications. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all Communications projects ensuring projects remain on time, within budget, and within the agreed-upon scope 
  • Oversee Vendor partnerships through developing and maintaining a comprehensive vendor database.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication between vendor partners including tracking invoices and estimates for review and approval.
  • Manage projects within the project management software platform utilized by TVC (Asana)
  • Operate project management processes within the best practices outlined

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agree with The Village Church’s Expectations of Membership, Statement of Faith, and Theological Distinctives, and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • Expert knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Proficient experience with various project management software systems 
  • Proficient in management of projects with high traffic volume
  • Working knowledge of resource management and capacity planning
  • Detail oriented
